Jeremy is an audit principal for Dauby O’Connor & Zaleski, LLC, and has been specializing in the real estate industry since 2009. Throughout the course of his career, Jeremy has provided services to companies and not-for-profit corporations engaged in development, construction, rehabilitation and management of multifamily properties. The portfolio of clients have utilized various government programs including LIHTC, HUD-insured and direct financing and/or rental assistance, RD guaranteed loans
and direct loans with rental assistance, the historic rehabilitation credit, and state LIHTC.
Since joining DOZ, Jeremy has prepared and reviewed numerous audits of limited liability companies, partnerships, and not-for-profit corporations owning various real estate developments. These audits have been prepared for HUD, RD, Uniform Guidance, state agencies and various debt and equity providers. He has also prepared cost certifications in accordance with requirements for multiple state housing finance agencies for utilization of the LIHTC.
Jeremy stays current with the real estate industry and the continually changing regulatory environment by attending continuing professional education classes and conferences on an ongoing basis. These classes and conferences address the most current issues regarding Low Income Housing Tax Credit, HUD audit guidelines, Government Auditing Standards, and OMB Uniform Guidance.
Jeremy has participated in various committees within the firm, including quality control and DOZ’s wellness committee. In addition, Jeremy occasionally teaches continuing professional education courses to colleagues and clients.
