Michael has been with Dauby, O’Connor & Zaleski, LLC and specialized in the real estate industry since 2007. He has considerable experience in the affordable housing arena, with focuses on real estate developments that utilize LIHTC equity, HUD financing/mortgage insurance and rental assistance, and RD or other agency financing and rental assistance. Michael’s portfolio of clients includes not-for-profit corporations, real estate developers, real estate limited partnerships, tax credit syndicators, and property management organizations, among others.
Since joining this firm, Michael has prepared and reviewed hundreds of audits of limited liability companies, corporations, partnerships, and not-for-profit entities owning various real estate developments. He has also prepared cost certifications required by various state housing finance agencies in connection with LIHTC and Section 1602 Exchange Program Awards.
Michael also chairs DOZ’s scheduling committee, responsible for planning the staffing of engagements, setting teams up for success, providing clients an accessible engagement team familiar with their organization, properties, and operations, as well as ensuring that timelines are achievable and attainable to honor the commitments of our clients and their partners.
